Why the federal record-keeping requirements do not apply to adultway.com.

This statement is published by Trusted Media Limited (company number 08153782), whose registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX (referred to herein as “adultway”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Title 18, United States Code, Section 2257 and Section 2257A, together with the associated regulations at Title 28, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 75, impose certain record-keeping and labelling obligations on producers of visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct. This notice explains why those provisions have no bearing on the content available at adultway.com (the “Platform”).
Every visual depiction accessible through the Platform—including all images, video sequences, and other media—is produced entirely by artificial intelligence and generative machine-learning models. No actual human being is depicted, photographed, filmed, or otherwise involved in the creation of any such content. Because 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A apply exclusively to depictions of real individuals engaged in actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct, and because no real individuals feature in any material on the Platform, the record-keeping and labelling requirements set out in those sections and in 28 C.F.R. Part 75 are inapplicable.
For the avoidance of doubt, adultway does not host, distribute, or otherwise make available any user-generated photographs or video recordings of real persons. The Platform’s sole function is to facilitate interactions between users and AI-driven characters, where all resulting outputs are algorithmically generated. Further details on the nature of these interactions and the content they produce can be found in our Terms of Service.
Although the federal record-keeping obligations do not apply to AI-generated material, adultway is firmly committed to lawful and responsible content practices. We maintain robust policies to prevent the generation or distribution of prohibited material, including any content that could be interpreted as depicting minors. Our approach to content safety is set out in our Content Moderation Policy, Blocked Content Policy, and Underage Policy.
