Underage Policy

Our commitment to safeguarding minors and ensuring age-appropriate access.

Last updated: 13 April 2026

This Underage Policy is published by Trusted Media Limited (company number 08153782), whose registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX (“adultway”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It applies to the website located at adultway.com (the “Website”) and to every communication channel through which our services are delivered, including web-based chat, WhatsApp messaging, voice interactions, and email correspondence (collectively, the “Services”).

The protection of children is a matter we treat with the utmost seriousness. Our Services enable registered users to engage in conversations with artificial intelligence characters (“Characters”) and may involve the exchange of text, images, audio, video, and other media. Portions of this content are intended exclusively for adults. Accordingly, every individual who accesses or uses the Services must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater. By using the Services, you confirm that you satisfy this requirement and that you are legally permitted to access adult material under the laws applicable to you. We maintain a range of technical, procedural, and organisational safeguards designed to prevent underage access and to ensure that no content produced through our Services depicts, resembles, or exploits minors in any way.

1. Age Verification and Access Controls

Access to the Services is restricted to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old or who have reached the age of majority in their country of residence, whichever is higher. During registration, every prospective user is presented with an age-gate mechanism requiring affirmative confirmation that they meet this threshold. Users are informed at this stage that submitting a false declaration of age constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Service.

Where mandated by applicable legislation, regulatory guidance, payment-processor requirements, or our own internal risk assessments, we may impose supplementary verification measures. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • verification of government-issued photographic identification through approved third-party providers;
  • facial-age estimation or biometric verification technology;
  • credit-card or other payment-instrument checks that inherently require the holder to be an adult; and
  • any other age-assurance method recognised or required by the relevant regulatory authority.

The specific verification requirements applied to a given user may vary by geography and are subject to change as regulatory standards develop. It remains each user’s responsibility to ensure that their access to the Services complies with all local laws and regulations applicable to them.

2. User Accountability for Generated Content

Characters on the platform are powered by machine-learning models and respond dynamically based on the inputs, prompts, and parameters you provide. You acknowledge and accept that the text, images, audio, video, and any other material generated during your interactions (“Outputs”) are a direct consequence of the conversations you initiate and the directions you give.

adultway does not exercise editorial control over individual Outputs and does not endorse, approve, or guarantee the suitability of any Output. You are solely responsible for how you use the Services and for any Outputs that result from your interactions. You must ensure that your conduct at all times complies with applicable law, our Terms of Service, our Community Guidelines, and our Blocked Content Policy. In particular, you must not attempt to produce any content that:

  • depicts, describes, or simulates the sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor;
  • bears any resemblance to a real or fictitious child in a sexualised or harmful context;
  • solicits, encourages, or facilitates contact with minors for any unlawful purpose; or
  • constitutes child-sexual-abuse material (CSAM) or any analogous category of prohibited imagery under applicable domestic or international law.

3. Automated and Human Content Oversight

We regard the safety of minors as non-negotiable. To uphold this principle, we operate a multi-layered content-moderation framework combining automated detection systems with human review. Our proprietary machine-learning filters continuously analyse interactions across all communication channels in real time, flagging material that may contravene this policy or our Blocked Content Policy.

Where the automated system identifies potentially violating content, it is escalated for manual assessment by our Trust and Safety team. Whilst we strive to preserve the confidentiality of user conversations, we expressly reserve the right to review any flagged material and to take whatever remedial action we deem appropriate. Further detail on how content is screened both before and after publication is set out in our Content Moderation Policy and our Pre-Screening and Post-Screening Policy.

4. Removal of Violating Material

Any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be in breach of this policy will be removed without prior notice. This includes, but is not limited to, Outputs, user-submitted prompts, uploaded media, and any other material associated with the offending interaction. We are under no obligation to provide a copy of removed content to the user. Our broader approach to content removal is described in our Content Removal Policy.

5. Enforcement and Account Action

Where we have reasonable grounds to believe that a user has breached this policy, we may take one or more of the following steps at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  • issue a formal warning to the user;
  • temporarily suspend the user’s account and restrict access to all or part of the Services;
  • permanently terminate the user’s account and delete all associated data;
  • report the matter, together with all relevant evidence, to the appropriate law-enforcement authorities, child-protection agencies, or other competent bodies; and
  • pursue any additional legal remedies available to us.

Enforcement action taken under this section is without prejudice to any other rights or remedies we may have under our Terms of Service or applicable law.

6. Cooperation with Authorities

We are committed to working closely with law-enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and child-safety organisations worldwide. Where we identify or receive a credible report of content that may constitute child-sexual-abuse material or any other offence against a minor, we will take immediate steps to preserve all relevant evidence and report the matter to the appropriate authorities in accordance with our legal obligations. We will cooperate fully with any subsequent investigation.

7. Reporting a Concern

If you encounter any content on the Services that you believe involves the exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of a minor, or if you suspect that an underage individual has gained access to the Services, we urge you to report it to us immediately at hello@adultway.com. You may also submit a report through the procedure described in our Complaint Policy. Every report is treated as a priority matter and will be investigated promptly by our Trust and Safety team.
