Content Removal Policy

How we handle requests to remove material from adultway.

This Content Removal Policy (“Policy”) is issued by Trusted Media Limited (company number 08153782), whose registered office is at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX (“adultway”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how individuals may request the removal of material published on adultway.com (the “Platform”) and the steps we follow when processing such requests.

adultway provides a service that allows users to interact with characters driven entirely by artificial intelligence. Conversations may involve text, images, video, audio, and other media delivered through the Platform, WhatsApp, voice channels, email, or any other medium we may introduce (the “Services”). Every piece of visual and textual content presented by our AI characters is generated algorithmically; no real person is depicted or represented. Nonetheless, we recognise that AI-generated material can, on occasion, produce an unintended likeness to a living individual, and we take any such concern seriously.

We aim to acknowledge every removal request within seven (7) calendar days. Where the material in question is found to be unlawful or in breach of our policies, we will take it down without delay.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all material accessible through the Platform, including AI-generated images, video, audio, and text produced during user interactions. It does not cover requests relating to copyright infringement, which are addressed separately in our DMCA Policy. For matters concerning content that contravenes our acceptable-use standards, please refer to our Blocked Content Policy and Community Guidelines.

2. Grounds for Removal

You may submit a removal request where you reasonably believe that content available on the Platform:

  • bears an unintentional likeness to you or to another identifiable living person;
  • includes personal data that has been published without the data subject’s consent;
  • is defamatory, abusive, or otherwise harmful to an identifiable individual; or
  • violates any applicable law or regulation.

This list is not exhaustive. We will consider any request made in good faith and assess it on its merits.

3. How to Submit a Request

To request the removal of material, please contact our team at hello@adultway.com. Your message should include the following information so that we can locate and assess the content promptly:

  • your full name and contact details;
  • a description of the content you wish to have removed, together with any URLs or screenshots that identify it;
  • an explanation of why you believe the content should be taken down; and
  • a statement confirming that the information in your request is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

If you are acting on behalf of another person, please also include evidence of your authority to do so (for example, a signed letter of authorisation or a power of attorney).

4. Identity Verification

To safeguard against fraudulent or malicious requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before we proceed. Verification may involve providing a copy of a government-issued photo identification document or other evidence that reasonably establishes your connection to the content in question. We will only use any identification documents you supply for the purpose of processing your request and will handle them in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

5. Review and Decision

Once we have received all necessary information, our moderation team will review the request and the content in question. During this review we may:

  • compare the content against the evidence you have provided;
  • consult relevant internal policies, including our Content Moderation Policy;
  • seek additional information or clarification from you; and
  • where appropriate, seek independent legal or specialist advice.

We will notify you of our decision and, if the request is upheld, confirm the action we intend to take. If we are unable to action your request, we will explain our reasoning.

6. Removal and Timescales

Where we determine that a removal request is valid, we will remove or disable access to the identified content as soon as reasonably practicable. Our target is to complete the removal within fourteen (14) calendar days of reaching a decision, although more complex cases may require additional time.

Content that is found to be illegal, or that depicts or relates to the sexual exploitation of minors, will be removed immediately upon identification, regardless of whether a formal request has been made. 7. Appeals

If you disagree with a decision we have made regarding your removal request, you may appeal by writing to hello@adultway.com within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving our decision. Please include any additional evidence or arguments you would like us to consider. Appeals are reviewed by a member of our team who was not involved in the original decision, and we will inform you of the outcome within a reasonable period.

The appeals process does not affect any rights you may have to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or to seek a remedy through the courts. For further information on our complaints procedure, please see our Complaint Policy.

8. Confidentiality

All removal requests are treated in strict confidence. We will not disclose the identity of the person making a request, or any details of the request itself, to any third party unless: (a) we are required to do so by law, regulation, or court order; (b) disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm; or (c) you have given your explicit consent. Personal data collected during the removal process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

9. Relationship with Other Policies

This Policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, Content Moderation Policy, and DMCA Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal obligations, or regulatory requirements. When we make material amendments, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services following the publication of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
